STICKING TO THE PLAN

writing plan Hey guys,

I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day and a great weekend. I’ve decided to create a writing plan for ‘City Streets – Part Three’ and I’m praying that I can stick to it! So far, so good. Just got to stay focused and disciplined! I really hope that you enjoy this final installment and have enjoyed reading these novels!

What are you favourite scenes from either book? Who would you like to see return? Let me know on here, Facebook or Twitter! I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Have a great sunday 🙂

BACK IN THE SWING O’ THINGS

Happy Saturday all!

I hope you all had a wonderful and safe New Year. Today’s task is TYPING! I’d managed to write a lot over the past couple of months and have slowed down recently. I’m thinking that with typing it all up, it will spur on some new ideas!

I really enjoy hand writing ideas instead of using my laptop. I’m a self-confessed stationary freak, so any excuse to buy a new notepad and pens, I’m all for it. Just a quick post for today, I hope you’re all enjoying your day wherever you are in the world.

MUSIC TO MY EARS

Hi guys,

Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Miles Davis. I bought a ten CD boxset of his, and it’s one of the best purchases i’ve made in a long time.

For any of you who have read ‘City Streets’, you will know that my main character ‘Isabella Moreno’ is a huge fan of jazz. That was one of the three factors of myself that I put into the novel was her love of music.

Jazz is a genre that I feel helps me to be a better writer – I know that if it’s late at night and I’m listening to Miles Davis for a while, words will fall onto a page and before I know it, I’m surrounded by reams of paper.

I’d definitely search for ‘Round Midnight’, guys. That’s one of my favourite tracks and one that really helps me think!

Enjoy!

THE FIRST POST

Beacon Street

Hi Guys,

Firstly, welcome to my blog! This is where I’ll keep you all updated on the news of my new releases and updates on existing novels. I always love to hear what you guys think of the ‘City Streets’ series, so leave a comment and remember to follow @CityStreets_ on Twitter!

I’ve started working on a new piece  – I’ve had the initial outline of the plot for a good few years now, but I’m FINALLY starting it all this month! I can’t wait for you guys to read it, I hope you enjoy it as much as you have with the ‘City Streets’ series. As for the ‘City Streets’ final installment, I’m hoping to have Part Three finished around September. It’s going to take me a little longer than I’d hoped, yet for the final part, I want it to be worth the wait!

Is there anything you want answered in Part Three? Are there any characters you’d like to see return? Give me a tweet (@CityStreets_), and let me know what you think.

Until next time…

P.S. – I’m giving you a ‘City Streets – Part Three’ clue…
