STICKING TO THE PLAN

 Hey guys,

I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day and a great weekend. I’ve decided to create a writing plan for ‘City Streets – Part Three’ and I’m praying that I can stick to it! So far, so good. Just got to stay focused and disciplined! I really hope that you enjoy this final installment and have enjoyed reading these novels!

BACK IN THE SWING O’ THINGS

Happy Saturday all!

I hope you all had a wonderful and safe New Year. Today’s task is TYPING! I’d managed to write a lot over the past couple of months and have slowed down recently. I’m thinking that with typing it all up, it will spur on some new ideas!

I really enjoy hand writing ideas instead of using my laptop. I’m a self-confessed stationary freak, so any excuse to buy a new notepad and pens, I’m all for it. Just a quick post for today, I hope you’re all enjoying your day wherever you are in the world.

OUTLINING…

Hey guys,

Happy news today – the outlines and key scenes for ‘City Streets – Part Three’ are complete! Collective cheer and celebration – wahoooo!!! I’m so thrilled that my mind has allowed me to get all of this down on paper, I feel that I’m finally getting somewhere.

Anyone who knows me personally will understand how frustrated and down I can get when I cannot write anything substantial. Since I have been trying to focus on writing new projects and trying to put out something fresh, I feel like I’ve been stalling at the lights when trying to get started.

With ‘City Streets’, it always feels easier to come back to. Plus, like I said in yesterday’s post – it will be something that I will always hold very close to my heart. I’m just stunned at how many ideas I actually had for Part three! I didn’t realise just how much I’d been thinking about the last novel until I got it down on paper.

Happy Sunday All! I hope you’ve all enjoyed your weekend. 

As you guys know, I’ve been getting back to ‘City Streets’ this weekend – it was just what I needed. I truly feel that if I don’t continue this soon, I won’t be able to progress with new novels. It sounds stupid to say, but I feel that I won’t be able to continue with new projects as well because I will be carrying too many ideas around for ‘City Streets – Part Three’ with me.

This series is something that is very dear to my heart and has been a part of my life for over five years now. As many times as I have started new projects and have come up with exciting ideas, I seem to return to this. I just feel that in order to progress with upcoming novels, I want to get the last part of ‘City Streets’ finished.

I don’t want to rush this last novel, as it caps off an emotional journey for our lovely protagonist, Isabella Moreno. I can’t say that I will never return to her story again, because I have a feeling that I will. Yet that will be way down the line. I’m excited for you to see where this next novel takes her and I truly hope you enjoy it.

I’m thrilled that I’m almost done outlining these ideas, considering that I only started getting them on paper last night. For now, it is only rough, yet I have had these scenes in my mind for over a year now and I finally feel ready to reconnect with these characters. 

I’ve blurred the images above for obvious reasons – if any of you happen to read this blog and haven’t read the ‘City Streets’ series so far, this is for your benefit. To those of you who have, I don’t want to give any spoilers away! 

 

CITY STREETS UPDATE!

Hey Guys,

Hope your weekend is going well so far! Just a quick post about ‘City Streets – Part Three’ today. Over the past few days, I’ve started writing a few pieces for the final part of the ‘City Streets’ series. It’s so crazy to think that our journey will soon will be coming to an end – but hey, never say never!

I’ll admit, I think I will always find it much easier to pick up a pen and continue Isabella Moreno’s story. At the minute, I have been finding it difficult to immerse myself into another character’s world, when I will always have ideas for ‘City Streets’ swirling around in my head.

Soon, I might be taking Part Two offline and making a few changes. To the people who have already read Part Two, don’t worry – there won’t be many changes, just small tweaks. As like anything, over time your views may change. There are certain phrases or small plot lines that I would like to alter. To be perfectly honest, I think no matter how many times I re-read these novels, there will always be minor pieces that I want to modify.

The most important thing is that you guys have been enjoying it – the feedback that I have received so far has been incredible. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read the ‘City Streets’ series so far, and to everyone who has visited my Twitter, Facebook and WordPress pages. It truly does mean a lot to me.
