Hey Guys! Hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine! I know I have – I’ve even been for a couple of walks today…Anyone who knows me will know how rare this is. Honestly is the best policy, blah, blah, blah…
Anyway – the good news is, I’ve been doing some work on “Back To Reality” over the past few days and I FINALLY feel motivated, not to mention that the work I have been doing, is worth reading. The picture above is some of the work I’ve been doing today.
I’ve realized that I was slipping into other pieces that I’ve done before – there are plot lines that are in “City Streets” that I must have been subconsciously pulling ideas from to use for “Back To Reality”. The blurb has remained the same, yet the back story is a little different. I’m really excited to continue working on this project, especially now that I feel that I’m in the right place to create something that I feel people will enjoy.
In the past, I’ve given myself time frames to work towards, even with this novel. Yet as this novel is just going to be a standalone, I want to take my time and make sure that every chapter is worthwhile. “City Streets” was and is something that I enjoy telling over a number of novels, yet “Back To Reality” only takes place over a very short time span, therefore I want people to feel satisfied with the end result on that last page – Ah, the sigh of a good book, nothing like it.
Anyway, enough rambling from me. Happy Wednesday and I’m off to carry on writing.
